Welcome to this new blog that no one's gonna read, as you can see in the title, this is about what i've been crazy for these past years: Korea and its many quirks and particularities. As well as kpop.
I'm not currently living in Korea nor i've been there yet, so this is mostly a stupid thing to do, but I think it's nice to get people to know about your feelings for something, even if it's stupid or no one (GEEZ, I KEEP ADDING THE W TO ONE DSDFSDG ONEW STAHP GETTING INTO MAH MIND LYKE DIS(?)) reads what i'm writing.
This started as a blog about my current feelings about the country and the people and the very little contact I had so far with this amazing culture.
I have so many things planned for this blog. And, written that rant about what this blog is about, I'll introduce myself.
Many people call me Candie Nemesys as it is a name I adopted four years ago when I was still a very angsty, angry teenager (and I'm not saying that I'm actually very mature now, I'm only 18), and I find comfortable "hiding" behind that name, I kept it and I'll keep it, as it is my name for many.
I live in Córdoba, Argentina and I moved here this year, without knowing anything and anyone. I met people and made my first friends here because of kpop and now I'm coadmin of SHINee's Fanclub here, h3h3.
About kpop, I entered this amazing realm of pop music, glitter, swag, sassiness, sasaengs and fanwars because of a friend back when I was fifteen, and as I became more and more inmersed in this whole new world, I instantly knew that I've entered a new era of my life.
The first kpop group I actually liked and still like was/is SHINee. I'm a SHAWOL, people:3 , so expect a lot of stuff related to them.
And don't worry, actually, I was going to start this blog next year, not today xD I'm flying to Korea on September 2014, it will be almost a year from now, but I hope you can keep up with my useless random rants and stuff until then, cuz I'll start updating things related to my journey, as things I'll take, things a won't, thing's I'll do there, things I'll buy and so on.
First entry, done. In English because I'm too lazy to translate it to my mother tongue, Spanish <3
